Most of this information was gleaned from her probate announcement.
Evelyn was a spinster and died at Richmond Hill, Surrey, on 17 September 1927.
Mentioned as administrators are Ronald George Batchelor, Gwendoline Audrey Soimenow, wife of Michael Soimenow, an architect, and Evelyn Olive Whicher, wife of Cecil Whicher, an insurance officer.
Ronald was the son of John Gabriel Batchelor and his second wife, Sarah Ann nee Lapthorn, was buried at Heene in 1918. He was the brother of Eveline Mary (sometimes spelt Evelyn) .
Gwendoline and Evelyn Audrey were both daughters of Ronald and his wife, Olive nee Ashford.
Eveline was born in Brixton but by 1881 her family were living in Bexley, Kent. In 1891 Eveline was with her widowed mother at Tenterfield, Mill Road, Heene, Worthing.
A few references in local papers revealed that Eveline attended events to raise money for charity at Heene Parish Rooms in which she sang, acted in plays and handed round refreshments. However, by 1901 she was with her brother, Ronald, and his family in Chiswick, Middlesex.
1911 found her in Haslemere, Surrey, and she was still in Surrey when she died at Richmond Hill.
