Life story

Life story

Winifred was born in Worthing, the daughter of Charles Duncan and his wife Jane Vassie Duncan nee Braidwood. Both parents had been born in Edinburgh and came to Worthing after their marriage in 1883. Winifred was baptised at Heene church on 31st May 1893 but sadly contracted typhoid during the epidemic and died on 4th September aged 4 months.
