Life story

William Edward Olliver was born in Bexley Kent in 1878 to William Olliver from London and Sarah Ann Norman from Boston Lincolnshire. William was the third child of ten born to William and Sarah. Florence Louisa 1874, Sydney Norman 1875, William Edward 1877, Frederick Charles 1878, Gilbert Robert 1880, Norman James 1881 and dies 1881, Mabel Blanche 1882, Harold Gladstone 1884, Gertrude Clara 1887, Mary 1888 and dies 1888. Williams father works as a Hop merchant and the family move from Bexley in Kent to Greenwich in 1881. William father dies in 1909 and William and his mother and sister are living in Worthing in the 1911 Census record. William occupation is an Incorporated Accountant. William Edward dies in Worthing on 20th February 1917 at his home in Ripley Road, Worthing of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. His brother Sydney was the informant of his death. William was buried in Heene Cemetery.
