Life story

Life story

Walter was born in 1843 in West Tarring, Sussex. He was the Son of Richard, a Gardener and Frances. Walter did not leave home and never married. Walter's Father changed his job sometime after 1871 and is shown as being a Laundry Proprietor. In 1871 Walter is shown as working as a Laundry Man possibly for his Father, but by 1881 he is shown as being 'afflicted'. Walter died on 3rd March 1885 at North House Heene of Tuberculosis, his Sister Caroline was present at the death.
