Life story

Life story

Frederick was the illegitimate son of Ellen Hobden. His mother was the daughter of Lucy Hobden who had married Rueben Guile in 1850. He was born in West Tarring and lived with his mother and her parents in High Street. By 1881, Rueben, Lucy and Frederick were living in Heene Road. Frederick worked on a local farm. He died at Worthing Infirmary on 26th April 1887 of peritonitis. No probate.
