Heene Cemetery in Worthing is one of 600 Sussex Local Wildlife Sites, and has a dedicated monitoring program led by its volunteers, who have identified over 760 species at the one acre site. This data feeds into the Sussex Biodiversity Records Centre and is a gold star example of successful council/community partnership.
