B. Sedge moths (GLYPHIPTERIGIDAE)
There are more than 500 different species of tiny Sedge moths. Their larvae feed on sedges and rushes.
C. Cocksfoot Moth (Glyphipterix simpliciella)
This is a tiny daytime moth, no longer than 4 mm in length, often found in abundance between May and July. It is an avid pollinator and can be seen feeding on Oxeye Daisies.
It gains its name through its larval foodplant being Cock's-foot, a grass found throughout the cemetery.
