Members of this poisonous family have bisexual flowers, and they include many common garden plants as well as wildflowers. The family name means 'little frog'!

C. Bulbous Buttercup (Ranunculus bulbosus)

The Bulbous Buttercup is another native member of the buttercup family, and is found in the Cemetery alongside the Meadow Buttercup. It is shorter than this other species, rising to a height of no more than 40cms. The base of its stem is swollen to form a rounded corm-like tuber.
