Life story

Windsor George Smith (Also known as George) was born in 1864 in Worthing to Samuel Smith (a Labourer) and Emily. In 1871 he is living with his family at 1 Cook's Row. His Father died in 1875 and by 1881 it shows that George was living with his Mother and Sister Mary at 4 Clump Square, Heene. The census also shows that George was an imbecile from birth. George died on 11th March 1887 in Heene of Consumption and Exhaustion, his Mother Emily was present at the death. His Sister Alma Smith is also buried in Heene Cemetery.
