Life story

When William Henry Collier was born in May 1904 in Worthing, Sussex, his father, Henry, a bricklayer and paviour, was 29 and his mother, Lucy Annie Leggett, was 29. He had four brothers and ten sisters. He died in September 1904 aged 4 months and was buried in Heene Cemetery, West Worthing, Sussex. His sister, Nellie, also died in infancy and is buried in the cemetery.
