Life story

Life story

William was born in Heene, the son of John and Mary and the brother of John who is also buried at Heene. He was baptised at West Tarring church on 29th April 1807. John Ball Snr was a farm labourer and his sons followed him into this occupation. On 2nd May 1829, William married Eleanor Paskins at Broadwater church. The couple had eight children: Eleanor, William, Caroline, Fanny, Frederick, Margaret, Isaac and Thomas. The family lived in Heene Lane close to brother John and his family. William died in September 1880. No probate.
