Life story

Louisa Owen was born in 1858 in London City, she was the daughter of John Owen, 39yrs, Timber Merchant, and Elizabeth, 42yrs, nee Smith. She had 2 older sisters, Ann, born 1854, and Clara, born 1856. In 1880; her sister, Ann, married and had 2 children but was widowed in 1888, the same year their mother, Elizabeth, died. Louisa and her father were living with Ann and her family in 1891 in Hampstead and Louisa moved with Ann to the Isle of Wight in 1911. She later moved, with Ann, to Worthing, Sussex, where they lived at 3, Belsize Road.

Louisa died in Worthing, on 3rd March 1933, aged 75yrs. Probate was granted to Ann Rowlett, effects £2603 11s 7d. Value 2021 - £195K.
