Life story

Life story

Little is known about Louie apart from information on her death certificate. It is known that her father was William Whitehead, a journeyman wheelwright who pre-deceased his daughter. It is not certain that Louie was her correct name or that her age at death was 29. She died at 6 Heene Parade, Worthing, the home of Miss Lucy Henry her employer. Louie is not listed on the house census in 1911 or living elsewhere in Sussex. Her certificate states that she was a spinster and a general domestic servant. She died suddenly of a throat and lung inflammation in January 1913.
