On 27 September 1906 she married Vincent Henry Challis at St Andrews , Streatham. She appears in the 1939 Register, living at ‘ Seabrook’ Nursing Home, 14, Queen’s Road, Worthing, run by Miss Ethel Dearle and Miss Alice Peak with 3 nursing staff. Kate died there in December 1939 aged 67 leaving £12132 14s 6d to her son, Ronald Vincent Challis, of no occupation, and Leonard Albert Taylor, a company director,
