Henry Partridge (buried 1919)

Henry Workman Barlow Partridge was born in 1842 in Greenwich London, to Henry and Emma Partridge (nee Hoskin). Henry's Father, also called Henry was a fisherman and lived in 8 Union Street, Greenwich.

By 1861 Henry has left home and is a servant to Osmon King who was a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons, he is living at Royal Hill, Greenwich. Henry was a dispenser of medicine.  In 1871 Henry has become a Surgeon's Assistant and is still living at Royal Hill in Greenwich. In 1881 Henry is still living at Royal Hill but is now a Medical assistant to George Cable, a General Practioner, he is still living with George Cable as a Medical assistant in 1891. In 1901 he is living at 66 Royal Hill with Harry Stevenson and he is working as a Surgeons assistant and dispenser. Henry married Muriel Beynon Williams in 1902 Greenwich (Muriel was born in 1866 in Hertfordshire).  They had one child called Harry Robert Beynon Partridge born 1906 in East Preston Sussex. In 1911 they are now living in Worthing at Loxia Richmond Road Worthing Sussex, Henry has retired from the medical profession. By the time Henry died on the 5 March 1919 he is living at Beaufort 35, Winchester Road, Worthing. He left £2086 18s 3d (approx £60600 in 2020) to Muriel Beynon his Wife.

After her husband died Muriel moved to Hope Street, Wallingford, Berkshire where she died on the 14th October 1940. She left an estate of £229 4s 4d (£9000 in 2020) to her Son Harry Robert Beynon Partridge
