The partnership was dissolved in 1859 due to debts.   By 1861 they are living at no. 8 St Pauls Road, Newington, Lambeth, London.  William is working as a commercial traveller of silk.  William died in approx. 1865 and Sarah Ann died in 1920.

Harriet never married, and by 1871 she is living with her Aunt, Elizabeth Naylor, who owned a costumiers and milliners in South Street, Worthing.  She continued to live with her Aunt Elizabeth until her Aunt's death in 1915.  She then moved to 59 Heene Road, Worthing, and had a companion/housekeeper living with her.  Harriet was living at 6 Langton Road, Worthing when she died on 10th July 1936.  She left £122 11s 10d (£6180 in 2020)  with probate to Edwin Douglas Hyatt, retired bank official.
