Hannah Keene Milliner was born in 1832 in Amberley, Gloucestershire to her farmer, father, Isaac Milliner, who was 30, and her mother, Sarah, who was 25. She married veterinary surgeon, Timothy Yates Whitby on 28 December 1867 in Audley, Staffordshire. They had three children, Sarah, Charles and Timothy. She died on 29 December 1918 in St. Matthew”s Road, Sussex, having lived 86 years and was buried in Heene Cemetery.
