Frederick Joseph Timms was born 1st April 1835 in London to William Robert and Susan Timms.  The family were living at Owen Row Finsbury Middlesex, Frederick’s Father was working as a Clerk and Frederick followed in his footsteps working as a Clerk for the London Assurance Corporation.  Frederick married Louise Eeles on the 19th July 1862. Louise was born on the 26th December 1840 in Holborn, London to Thomas Robert and Eliza Eeles. Thomas Robert worked as a Book Binder.

Frederick and Louise had 9 children-

Frederick Joseph then married Sarah Eeles in 1891 Middlesex. (Although both of Frederick’s Wives have the same maiden name, they do not appear to be related).

 

 

 

After Frederick retired he moved to Worthing with his 2nd Wife Sarah and Florence Mary his Daughter. They are living at Talybont Shakespeare Road.  Frederick died on 23rd August 1920 and left £6554 15s (£190,440 in 2020)  with probate to William Beresford Smith and Charles Edward Peckover.

Sarah died in 1926, at Salisbury Lodge, Queens Road, Worthing. She left £4656 3s 8d (£191,000 in 2020) with probate to Charles Edward Peckover.
