Florence Eugenie Summers was born in Woolwich, London, in 1856. She was the daughter of Thomas C. Summers, Royal Navy Engineer, 44yrs, and Henrietta, 44yrs, nee Cockle; she was I of at least 9 children.
The family moved from Kent to Portsea, Hampshire, after her father retired.
Florence, 25yrs, married Alfred Henry Kingswell, 23yrs, on 31st October 1881, at Hammersmith, London, her husband was a banker’s clerk.
They lived in Chiswick for many years before moving to Worthing, Sussex, where Alfred was a resident bank clerk, living at the London County Westminster & Parrs Bank, in Rowlands Road. They had no children.
Florence died, aged 63yrs, on 11th March 1920.
