Story
Florence was born on 18 August 1879 in Westminster and was baptised 6 months later on 18 February 1880. Her father, Frederick Almes Ingram, a gas fitter, and her mother, Harriet Louisa, née Stocker, were married on 5 March 1877 at Holy Trinity, Brompton. Florence had an older brother, Frederick, but neither he nor Florence were on the 1891 census which showed only their parents with another daughter, Edith, aged 9 months. The other children were could not be traced. Florence died at Argyle House, Thorn Road, Worthing, on 23 September 1900 of pulmonary tuberculosis and exhaustion, with her father by her side, after ailing for 9 months. She was buried here at Heene on 27 September.
