Fanny was ill for three weeks before she died on 19 August. Her sister, Charlotte, was present. She was born on 23 March 1874 at Stoke-next-Guildford, Surrey, and was only 18 years old. Her father, Thomas was a gardener and her mother, Elizabeth, nee Gibbs, was a laundress.
