When Eliza Emily Kibble was born in 1851 in St Mary Cray, Kent, her father, Charles, a sawyer, was 33, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 32. She had two brothers and four sisters. She died on 20 February 1924 in Worthing, Sussex, at the age of 73.
