In 1901, Edward, 13yrs., and Maggie, 10yrs, both listed as “Imbecile from Birth”, lived at Seeburgh, Lansdowne Road, Worthing with their mother, Emily 55yrs, nee Beedell. Edward Wesley Watts died on 4th December 1918, aged 31yrs. His death certificate gave the cause of death as “(1) Microcephaly, 31 years (2) Amentia. Heart failure.”
