"Dangers of the Road"
A jobbing gardener, David White of 26 Thorn Road was knocked down whilst cycling along Lansdowne Road, at the corner of Downview Road on Friday, by a car owned and driven by Mr Charles Thomas Feary, Braemore Lodge, Gratwicke Road. He was taken to the hospital suffering from a fractured rib and cuts.

Worthing Police Court - "A Wise Thing"
David White, 26 Thorn Road, Worthing appeared to answer a charge of assault against Ernest Handsley, 22 Thorn Road. Handsley did not appear and White said "a very wise thing for him as he has not got a leg to stand on". The case was struck off the list owing to the complainant's absence.
