David Cooper was born in Worthing on 21st January 1928 and died later that day. His parents were Percy Raymond Cooper and Phyllis Margaret nee Bourne. He was the grandchild of  William Wykeham Bourne and Ann Margaret Bourne. The Coopers later lived at 50 Rowlands Road, Worthing.
