Story

Constance was born in Newport Monmouthshire, the daughter of Benjamin and Augusta. The family lived in a large late 16th century house in the village of English Bicknor not far from the Welsh border. Augusta came from landed gentry in Ireland.
By 1881, the family had moved to Huddersfield where Benjamin worked as an insurance agent for Royal Liver Insurance Society. Augusta died in 1884 and Benjamin moved back to Somerset where he had been born. He died in 1903. Constance spent much time visiting friends and family. She eventually settled in Worthing, living with her sister Florence in Rowlands Road.
Constance died c21 Mar 1921. No probate.
