Her father was an umbrella manufacturer. Annie was close to her siblings and lived with them all her life. By 1865, the family had moved to Stratford, Essex where four more children were born: Maude Beatrice (known as Beatrice), Frederick Thomas, Nellie and Florence. In 1871, they were living in West Ham, close to Thomas's business. Thomas died in 1883, leaving a large estate of over £6000 (approx. £402K in 2020). Frederick took over the business for a while before selling it and moving the family to Wanstead and after Mary Anne Snr's death, to South Woodford. Annie's sister Florence was the only one who married. She lived in Southend and had a son Donald. By the beginning of the First World War, Annie and her siblings had moved to Worthing, living at "Seabank" in Manor Road. After the war, they lived for a while at 73 Marine Parade before finally settling at "Talybont" in Shakespeare Road. Annie died here on 20th June 1927. Probate was granted on 14th October to Frederick Thomas Fisher of no occupation.
