Life story

Annie was born in Worthing, the daughter of Francis and Mary Ann nee Slaughter. Her father was a plumber, originally from Arundel via Littlehampton. Annie was known as Maude to her family. Annie died aged 21 at her brother Frank's home, 2 Heene Cottages, Heene Road. She had been suffering with Pulmonary Tuberculosis for eighteen months.
