In 1871 Alma moved to Omega Cottage Ann Street Worthing where she worked as a General Servant to Edward Snewin, a builder employing 14 men and 1 boy (The rest of the family were living at no. 1 Cook's Row) Alma died on 14th August 1880 at Heene Worthing, of Consumption which she had suffered from for a year and exhaustion for 1 month, her Mother was in attendance.
