FUNERAL OF MR A. M. HAWTHORN OLD WORTHING RESIDENT Mr Alfred Mayo Hawthorn, of Heene House, Heene-road. was buried on Tuesday. Mr Hawthorn, who was 86, came to reside Heene House twenty years ago, when he retired from the banking business, He was formerly manager at the head office of the old London County and Westminster Bank. The Rector of Heene Rev. B. A. Havlland) was assisted the service by Mr Hawthorn's grandson the Rev. j, t. H. Boyton. It was held at Heene Parish Church, and the Interment was at the Heene burial ground The immediate mourners were: Mr and Mrs R. D. Boyson (son-in-law and daughter). Dr and Mrs Sayers (son-in-law and daughter), Mr Julian Boyson, Miss Sayers. Derek Sayers and Mr Nigel Sayers (grand-children). Among friends present were: J. J. Brown (London). Mr J. W. Brown (Southsea), Mr O. W. Castle (Worthing) ana Mr P. Reader. Mr W. W. Woodhams. of Lothbury, represented the Westminster Bank.
